Great game, that foul on quisy at the end was weak, melo tripped over his own feet. Celts looked strong WITHOUT pierce and pietrus. Rondo is hitting jumpers now. Uh oh

My thoughts on the game yesterday.

First I want to say before yesterdays game I really thought it was going to be hard for the Celtics to compete for the East this year & I still feel that way. We have no back up PG, true Center, or enoughe help off the bench. If the trade for David West had went through & Jeff Green been healthy I would feel better about our chances.

Brandon Bass was HUGE yesterday, I dont expect that kind of production from him every night but I do think he is a better piece than Big Baby.

Rondo played GREAT!! His jump shot was working & he was knocking down FT's. He is my favorite player in the league to watch.

Not have PP34 hurt yesterday, we needed his production & defense.

IMO it wont be to pretty for us. I'm just not that high on this C's team this year. I havent heard anything on Pierce yet. We really needed him against the Knicks.

Pierce is out tonight & Pietrus likely wont play until Friday.

Celtics lose again bad tonight against the Hornets, this team is just old old old & w/ no real depth. After this year Ainge is going to have another rebuilding job.

I hope so. We are def missing is production right now. I think our starting lineup can compete w/ almost anyone, except for us getting worn down easy b/c of age. We just dont have enough quality depth right now to compete for the East.

Yep, I loved the trade from the beginning.

Pierce came back last night, had a pretty decent game. C's got the 1st win of the year.
