| The CHASE Seems it's a ONE TEAM effort in trying to win this CUP! Hendrick Motor Sports, that is. I think it's down to three drivers, Jimmie, Mark and Jeff Gordon. However, we'll know more after Martinsville. Jimmie and Jeff have both been good there. Jimmie has 2 wins out of the last 3 races. Jimmie, Jeff and Denny have 3 top 5's in the last 3 races. Top 10's (not including Jimmie, Jeff and Denny) in the last 3 races: Clint -3, Dale Jr-3(shock ), Carl -2.

| Can't argue with that, hendrick drivers are consistantly faster than everybody else in the field.

| It's Johnson's to lose, and Martin is the only one with a chance to take it from him.
Dale Jr. has been good at Martinsville for years. Not sure why three top 10s in the last three races is shocking.

| Would I be the first to bring up the topic of "Five-peat" for next season?
May as well start talking about it now.
Yuck.

| You can't blame Jimmie Johnson or his team for trying to win the championship every year.
The chase itself is the problem. Maybe Tony Stewart's idea of giving the chase drivers a seperate points system would be better. |

| I'm pretty sure Johnson would still be winning the championships even if the Chase guys had their own points system.
Stat of the Day: Of the 55 races in the Chase since its inception in 2004, Johnson has won 17 of them for a winning percentage of just under 31%.

| Possibly, but it makes me feel better knowing that in only one of Johnson's championship seasons so far has he actually scored the most points throughout the entire 36 race season.
