Rusty Wallace Miller car with colored splashes down the side, or the western auto car DW drove in the early 90's

DW was always my favorite so I'm a little biased towards him but here's my favorite two schemes of his of all time.

This scheme really was groundbreaking IMO too. No one had a flashy scheme like that in Cup at the time.

The good ol' Pepsi Challenger. I've still got the old Hot Wheels diecast of this from 83 in storage.

I absolutely loved these two schemes below. The first one is Brett Bodine's scheme from 1988 driving for Bud Moore. The second one is Davey Allison's first version of the Texaco car and best version of that car IMO.

How about an early version of the Skoal car for Harry Gant? And another favorite of mine the Cale Yarborough Hardees scheme.

I like the originality of the older cars(body styles) but the paint schemes these days look alot better.

Yeah most of today's are definitely more flashy than the old one's but there are some of those old schemes that were revolutionary for their time. I still contend that the Davey Allison and DW Western Auto schemes could still hold up today as slick paint jobs.

I'm a little biased...

And for the specialty paint schemes...

I always liked Rusty's black and gold MGD car, too.

I always liked the original scheme of Davey Allison's
Texaco car too.

I was going to post Sterlings UT car too, but I got beat to it.

I thought the silver version of the 3 car was cool.
