| Found it, good piece. I liked Pearson, my first NASCAR memory was the opening day of practice for the first race held at Bristol. My dad and I were walking up the hill above turn one, and Pearson, driving a '61 Pontiac #3 spun out. It was his rookie year, and he had already won two races.
