I understand sponsorships and crap. But my god this is so dumb. There has been more time of these things than the actual race. And NASCAR is wondering why ratings continue to slip.

At least keep the race in the top corner of the screen or something. Just ridiculous.

Fox overdoes the commercials with just about everything. Take baseball, for instance. You get to watch 57 commercials, only to pick up the game 5 pitches into the 3rd batter of the inning. Plus they employ Tim McCarver and Darrell Waltrip, 2 answers to questions nobody asked (although DW was pretty decent this race, i wasn't looking for an awl to pierce my eardrums, anyhow)

Yeah Waltrip is to much. My company wired one of his houses down here near Center Hill Lake and he was full of himself whenever he came around.


I thought of a new commercial. Since Miller Lite is the equivalent to horse piss. Have one of the Bud Cydesdale's piss in a bottle and slap a Miller Lite label on it. Then hand it to D.W.

This I agree with, since it is being done for IRL races, I dont know why they cannot for NASCAR. BTW, I would take Miller Lite over Budweinner drool any day. Other than his Boogity........... at the start, I think DW does an ok job, not as good as Ned Jarrett or Parsons, but better than R. Wallace. I think Dale Jarrett will be excellent.
