| In 07's official bash montoya thread (although it could have been during my bash harvick thread), I was going round and round with him over his confusion over the use of the words "loose" and "lose". Sabanocchio then sent me a PM where he claimed to be an English teacher and that I should lighten up on 07.

Ran into him not too long ago actually. He just gave up racing last year. He said he just couldn't get the financial backing. He seemed alright with it, evidently he took it as far as he could and has moved on. |

| Broyles, do you know Mike Potter? I'm assuming you do with your knowledge and I shouldn't even have to ask. My papaw used to take me and one of my cousins to local races and growing up I thought he was the man. |

| broyles, you ever watched a race at Highland Rim Speedway in the big city of Ridgetop Tennessee?
Darrell Waltrip, Sterlin Marlin and Bobby Hamilton (jr and sr) raced there coming through the ranks.
Just wondering if anybody had ever heard of it. |

He was very good and won some smaller races like Radford and Coeburn VA. He has a younger brother whose name excapes me, who raced dirt late models at Kingsport when I was involved with the program there.

Just wondering if anybody had ever heard of it. | Heard of it, but never been there. I believe Sterling's father Coocoo raced there along with GC Spencer. Darrell once said he believed GC was the best driver he had seen up to that point. All of these guys raced at the Nashville Fairgrounds track. They even ran cup races there for many years.(Nashville)

You should go to Highland Rim. It's a a pretty neat place. My uncle raced there for awhile before he had to "grow up" as he put it and get a real job. |

I'll try to make it, I'll let you know, maybe you could join me.

| Kyle is a class act. I will miss seeing him on the track, but like someone else said...he should get a job in the booth. He has always been good at that. |
