NASCAR 2006 pick'ems

The start of NASCAR season is just over 45 days away!

Does anyone have any ideas for the coming season? Do we still want to do the final 10 races like they do in the Nextel Cup? Hope we get more people to play all season long! Would be nice to have 10-15 people play all season long.

Will see how the season progresses and determine how we do the final 10 races. Hoper to see everyone back that participated in 2005 plus get some more involved. Thanks!

I'm ready to go. It should be even more interesting with more people plus the full season

I'm anxious to see how Bobby Labonte will do this ear, although I don't expect much the first year.

I'm waitin for DALEtona to roll around and watch Dale Jr. do somethin his Dad never done(R.I.P) and win 2 Daytona 500's......Dale JR. will be back this year in full force.

Enjoyed having you with us last season. It's open to anyone who wants to participate. Hope that when anyone comes on that they participate most of the season. There's 36 races! We may do it the way NASCAR does-i.e. play the final 10 and set up a point total depending on what the totals were at the end of the 26 races for those who participated.
Please let me know if you disagree with this or not. If anyone participates in at least half the races they can be entered into the final 10. Or should we allow anyone who played enter in -but they'd still be back a significant number of points depending on the number of players in the final 10 races. I'd deduct 10 points from 1st place for each position after that starting with the 1st race on Richmond - THE CHASE.
In other words if 1st place was 15,000, then 2nd would be 14,990; 3rd would be 14,980; 4th-14,970; etc.

How do you work this, I mean how do you get points? Use the NASCAR system?
