I like Sci-Fi movies so i'm definitely excited for this. This is what became of Peter Jackson's Halo project. The studios kept fighting over rights so he took the director and found a writer and made their own sci fi movie

People that go to see this movie with their opinions based solely on the second trailer will probably end up disappointed. I have a feeling this movie won't be as action packed as that trailer makes it look. I'm still gonna see it though, since I've been intrigued by this movie for a good while now.

I would say this is actually Neill Blomkamp's project more than Jackson's. Blomkamp made Alive in Joburg (which District 9 is based off) before Jackson was hired onto the Halo movie.

it's political without being preachy, i highly recommend it to anyone regardless of their political beliefs.

The good thing about this movie is I don't have any frame of reference for a comparison. A different kind of film.

Saw this trailer for the first time a week or two ago. Had no idea what the movie was. Looked cool. After hearing so much good stuff about it, I'm pretty sure I'll catch it during the next week.

I thought it was OK. The action in the last 30 minutes or so is definitely cool. Overall I didn't think it was anything special.

I thought it was a waste of my money, should have just stayed home and watched pre-season football. The best thing in the movie was the alien weapons.
