I saw Gran Torino this past weekend.

It was pretty good, although not his best work.

In the book The Outlaw Josey Wales, Josey came from Scott County Tennessee to Missouri.

I'd go with Unforgiven at #1 then Good, Bad, Ugly and The Outlaw Josey Wales somewhere after. I was appalled the other day when two of my roommates said they didn't like any Eastwood movies, as an actor or director.

The guy who that wrote that was a member of the KKK I think. Also wrote political speeches, etc.

Yeah I read that somewhere but I think there is some controversy over if it is true or not.

Regardless, it is REALLY great book, followed up with the Vengence Trail of Josey Wales. The movie did it justice but when one reads about the real Josey Clint suddenly seems very.....inappropriate.

It is still a great movie though.
