nice link, i will check into it. but i am surprised there have been no mentions of the gladiators, dennis miller, bunny wailer, clinton fearon, sizzla, anthony b, morgan heritage, capleton, the abyssinians, alpha blondy, aswad, barrington levy, beres hammond, black roots, the congos, culture, junior kelly, luciano, third world, turbulence, or even the twinkle brothers; just to a name a few (there are many more). if you guys don't have any clinton fearon, you should look him up. he is clinton "bassie" fearon from the gladiators and has done some really wonderful solo work with a few of his albums being absolute masterpieces.

Not surprised it's in Ducktown. During the summer, it's hippies all over US-64 taking their annual baths in the Ocoee...

Not really. The EXIT-IN always used to have a great show on Marley's birthday but that seems to have gone by the wayside with new ownership in recent years. I'm guessing that it's just the odd show here and there at this point.

i just got the latest lutan fyah album in the mail yesterday and it is pretty sweet. if any of you all know about this guy he is on his way to being at the tops of the genre. his latest album is Lutan Fyah- Africa. not all of the tracks are that great but being a 2 cd release there are actually quite a few really great tracks. the first cd is just spectacular and worth checking out.

i just thought i would share some new album titles worth checking out. i may be talking to myself, but maybe someone will find them interesting to check out. i know i must be in the smallest of minorities in terms of musical tastes on this board. so here goes:

Anthony B.- Rise Up
Benaissa- Tables Turn
Daweh Congo- Ghetto Skyline
Fanton Mojah- Stronger

If anyone wants some intel on each of these I would be more than happy to share some thoughts. The Daweh Congo album just came in the mail today so I am actually spinning it for the first time right now and am very pleased thus far. There are some good releases that should be on their way in the near future.
