| Quentin Tarantino Set to Make His Self-Proclaimed Masterpiece Inglorious Bastards.
OMG. This film has the potential to be ridiculously BA. Rumors swirling about Brad Pitt playing lead, with DeCaprio as the main villain.
Other big names being tossed around include: Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Paul Walker, Adam Sandler (?!), Eddie Murphy (??!!!), Johnny Depp, John Travolta, Harvey Keitel, Fred Williamson, John Jarratt, Mickey Rourke and Christopher Walken.
However, Tarantino now claims that the names were just conversations and nothing more. Inglorious Bastards (2009) Inglorious Bastards - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

So, what’s it about? You mean, besides the graphic scalping of countless Nazis circa WWII? The lead character that Brad Pitt has reportedly been offered is named Lieutenant Aldo Raine (which reminds me of of the Alpa Chino character in Tropic Thunder, but let’s move on). Raine leads a blood thirsty squadron of soldiers (neither review specified about the rumored “war criminals” aspect) called the “Bastards” for a final mission that involves ruining Nazi party plans to premiere a propaganda film in Paris. The chapters are said to form a storyline double helix of sorts, switching from the Bastards to the other main character, which Vulture describes as “a French Jewish teenager named Shosanna who survives the massacre of her family.” She is curating the premiere and has something up her sleeve for the Third Reich as well.

| Oh my... I just hope he the build up doesn't exceed the actual movie. Still haven't gotten around to seeing the Grindhouse movies yet, so I'm way behind...

| Love early Tarantino but his last few have been duds. Grindhouse was pretty bad and Kill Bill was a pretty cool action flick but lacked the great dialogue and character elements of Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs, or Pulp Fiction. I hope this will get him back on track.

| This movie sounds like it would scream out for Christopher Walken to play some kind of evil, heartless SOB. Sounds like it has good possibilities. |

| I still haven't seen either of the "Grindhouse" series, but plan on watching both one night. The mixed reviews have me skeptical. My wife and I actually watched 'Dogs recently (first time for her). Great flick.

| Death Proof was good- but definitely was not made for cinema. I haven't seen Planet Terror yet. |
