Brian Bell of Weezer grew up in Knoxville and his dad is a professor at UT. Right about the time the blue album came out my roommate had his dad for a class and went to his office to ask him a question. He had Weezer posters hanging in his office and my friend was surprised that he was such a fan and asked him about it. He told him what was up.

| Saw them with No Doubt at World's Fair Park around '97 or so. If you like their music, I recommend seeing them live. The bass player started singing the Dukes of Hazzard theme, and Rivers Cuomo was trying to get some guy to pass him a joint on stage.

| Has anybody here ever read any magazine interviews with Rivers Cuomo? Probably among the most intriguing musicians out there right now.

pinkerton is a great album. of course the blue album is the best of all. the b-sides to maladroit were awesome, but i wasnt too impressed with the final outcome. there was a website that had all of the demos to download, and they ended up changing almost eveything they had by the time the final cut was out. the green album has a LOT of catchy songs on it, i really enjoyed that one too. |

| i've only seen weezer one time. it was in nashville in 2002. me and a friend drove down there and drove back the same night. the show was awesome and while we were walking around we saw scott walk into a donut shop. that was when he was still new to the band, i think he had only been with them for a couple of months at that point. |
