| I only like classic country, for the most part. Cline, Cash, Jennings, Williams sr and jr, Daniels, Nelson, a few others. For modern, I can only think of Dixie Chicks and Toby Keith.

I actually like Big & Rich, although they are a far cry from the traditional country music i prefer/generally listen to.
At least they have their names on the songwriter line of the album. Same as i like Alan. Toby is a semi-songwriter, but he presents it well, and i like his style. George is great, he's a singer, not a songwriter, but he sings Chris Ledoux songs like they are his own, he's the only country singer on the main stage who can handle a cow horse, a Classic rope, and a jumping steer.
The Tim/Faith/Kenny country is just pre-formed hit garbage, i can't stand to listen to it. Kenny is better that the others, but his songs often turn me off after 2-3 listenings. If i want to listen to Jimmy Buffett, I'll listen to Jimmy Buffett.
Personally, i listen to alot of Texas singers, Cory Morrow, Pat Green, Dub Miller, Rodney Creager, et. al., as well as Shooter and Hank III,, thats more country than the Tim/Faith crap we're subjected to on the radio

| I like country music but I listen to all kinds of music my sister has taken me to see Toby several times. Kenny is coming to concert here on Saturday. I think Kenny's songs all sound the same anymore. |

| When the geniuses who run country music decided they couldn't find room for The Mavericks, I decided I couldn't find room for country music anymore. |
