I even think he's trying extremely hard to put a lot of southern twang into his voice and it sounds fake.
There was a song recently that was something like "and we rode in trucks". It was the dumbest most pointless song I had ever heard, until I heard John Rich's song about Detroit. Embarrassing for country music IMO. |

Luke Bryan sings the "we rode in trucks" song and I agree it sucks. His song "Do I" is pretty damn good though. He has a song call "Take my drunk ass home" and its a pretty good drinking song. |

My thoughts exactly. I hate songs wherein the singer tries to make living in the country seem glorious. I've lived in the country for the past four years, after living in the city for my first 17 years, and can tell you that city living is much nicer. |
