I have to agree with this. I just don't see any way this could come out being well done.

I know Feldman likely really wants a sequel since last I read, his life was going down the crapper. He made 2 direct to DVD Lost Boys sequels, he and his wife divorced, and last I saw him he was running this "party service" where you pay him a lot of money and he'd come with about 6 skanks and "party" with you. It was rather pathetic.

Most of them probably are game, since most of them probably don't have a lot going on acting wise. Other than of course Josh Brolin, and Sean Astin, although he's kind of fallen off a bit after his LOTR fame. Martha Plimpton also has had steady work and just finished "Raising Hope".

I admit as for as I know, I have never actually seen Goonies from start to finish.

I've seen bits and pieces here and there but that's about it.

It's the key to most things, but not just any thing.

Bands, tv shows, etc., have been done well and not succeeded. Timing has a lot to do with it. Goonies 2 would make money just from nostalgia. The timing is good.
