| So, a topic came up at work (*I started it*)
Situation: A band/performer (not a group of performers, not a tour, etc) announces a stadium concert. There's a catch, though. It's that night, less than 18 hours from the time of announcement. I was using Neyland Stadium as the arena (capacity: 107,455 IIRC).
My question is this: What band/performer, with that little of warning, could completely sell out Neyland Stadium?? Oh, and they have to have all their members alive (no using dead people, we all know that Elvis, The Beatles, Hendrix, or Michael Jackson could do it).
My choice, and really the only band that I could see pulling it off, would be AC/DC. I know Bon died in 1980, but Brian's been the lead singer for 32 years, he counts. A friend of mine mentioned Zeppelin, but I dunno if Plant and Page's egos would fit in Neyland together, plus, John Bonham's dead.
So.....what band/performer could sell out Neyland Stadium in less than 18 hours, on extreme short notice?? |

| | doo doo doo | Since it's hypothetical, Led Zepp could have 3 of the 4 original plus Bonzo's son on drums.
A Pink Floyd with Roger Waters probably could.

| Led Zep. They are the only one I think. I can't see AC/DC selling that out. |

| Kenny Chesney probably could have done it in 2003 if the stage had been more bowl friendly. U2 packed some pretty big places on their most recent tour. I could see them filling Neyland. |

A Pink Floyd with Roger Waters probably could. | A friend and I joke that if Zep played the Super Bowl halftime show the actual game would be the second ratings draw not the headliner.
Reaction would be "helz yeah!!! Led Zeppelin is reuniting for one show..,, oh and the super bowl will be played too." |

| What if McCartney and Ringo performed with a John and George hologram? Would that count? |

That would definitely sell out. Hell, if you could Ringo and Paul together it might sell out. |
