Firefly music festival

If anyone is anywhere near Delaware, I envy you. The lineup is pretty much top to bottom outstanding. Blows every other music festival's lineup out of the water.

I would rather drive 10 hours to see this lineup than drive 3 to see Bonnaroo's.

It is a great lineup.

Delaware still sucks.

If you say so. MHO is that it isn't even close to being the equal of Bonnaroo. Not nearly as many bands. Not nearly the range of styles and depth. I agree it's a fantastic lineup, but you're kidding yourself and not being the least bit objective in comparing it to Bonnaroo. Any music lover can go to Bonnaroo and enjoy themselves because of it's electic range of groups. Not so at a festival like Firefly. JMO

Which is YOUR opinion. Still it pales in overall depth to Bonnaroo

Kind of a quality over quanity IMO, cannot go wrong with either one.. For this year I will go with Firefly though. Not the case every year though.

I love that lineup at Firefly. Actually might go to it. Here's the thing about Bonnaroo: While part of our crew was at Munford and Sons, another couple went to see Loretta Lynn. I suppose Bonnaroo offers a wider range of styles for the baby boomers like me who have developed an affinity for a number of bands from the "jam" genre, such as Phish, Umphrey's McGee, Black keys, My Morning Jacket, STS9, Disco Biscuits, etc. There's almost always an acceptable alternative at most any time slot for us old schoolers

No Mal, Zoe, Wash, Jayne, or Inara? Not really a firefly festival then.

Pretty solid lineup. But I think between Bonnaroo and Forecastle I'm pretty set.
