| This band called Secret And Whisper keeps popping up on my Circa Survive/Dance Gavin Dance Pandora station. I'm digging them. Similar to Saosin. |

most of the bands mentioned sound like they bought Relationship of Command and The Shape of Punk to Come, and then decided they were going to start a band. IMO. | Refused were so good. TSOPTC is up there with "The Velvet Underground and Nico" and "London Calling" on my best punk albums list. |

My friends were really in to At The Drive In, I just wasn't feeling it. | As far that genre goes, I had the most fun going to the ATDI, Refused, the JR EWING, and Drive like Jehu shows. |

mats live stuff sounds way better than their studio stuff. Something about the mix is off. IMO
I thinks is still available on aquariumdrunkard.com |

| Man, I freaking love The Sound Of Animals Fighting. Anthony Green, Craig Owens, and a ton of other extremely talented musicians. |

| Gotta say I'm having an Emery revival right now. I love "In a Lose, Lose Situation" from The Question. |

| Dammit. I was trying so hard to not post in this thread until someone mentioned Refused.
really hope I get a chance to see them on their little reunion tour. one of my all time faves. Never really dug atid. Never dug most of the bands mentioned here. I was a music snob in some aspects when it came to the post hardcore/screamo genres. Some decent ones mentioned but okay, here's a short list of what I ran with back in the day, some are bands I shared shows with, others that had broken up before I got to see them live, so on. Lots of late 90s stuff
Orchid
Saetia
Hot Cross
Neil Perry
Joshua Fit For Battle
The locust
Welcome The Plague Year
The Assistant
Refused
Phoenix Bodies
Towers
Crimson Curse
Swing Kids
Panthers
The Icarus Line
Ink and Dagger
Tunes for Bears to Dance To
I Would Set Myself on Fire For You
Jesse Washington
Capsule
Some of my favorite pop punk and/or indie rockish bands
Saves the day (circa 98-2003)
New found glory (circa 99-03)
Fairweather
The get up kids
Hot rod circuit
The promise ring
Mineral
Jimmy eat world
Twothirtyeight
Cap n jazz
Reggie and the full effect
New amsterdams
Alright that's enough for now. |
