| Lyrically, I'd go with Roth. Musically, I'd go with Hagar. The band wrote their strongest material during the Hagar years because he could actually sing along to the music. | |

| 5150 is great (still listen to it, Good Enough = b.a.), but For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is awesome from front to back.
One thing about the Van Hagar years, they were always consistent. Diver Down was horrible.
