| I saw Eric and Brantley Gilbert a little over a month ago, and it was a great show. I may see Dierks at the Detroit Country Hoedown come June. He's pretty good as well. We are far removed from Waylon and Willie and Cash, but there's still talent. As somebody mentioned, Jamey Johnson has that sound. Also, the Texas Country sound has that more rugged, outlaw sound. |

| Eric Church is the best mainstream country artist out there right now.... and I don't think it anyone is close to him.

| Between Eric Church and Dierks Bentley, I would choose Dierks. He's not very good but still much better than EC. |

| I'd say Eric still. Granted, I like all kinds of country music, so I love 'em both. Lyrically, Eric Church has some really good stuff. Dierks' new album is pretty good.
On a slightly unrelated note, how do you feel about Brantley Gilbert? I love what he brings to the table. He has the balls to play his own stuff (for now at least), and I respect that. His sound is good, too. |

Hesthere all time. | I remember you told me in another thread that Eric Church puts on a great show. You were 100% correct! He's awesome, especially live. He really has a lot of energy on stage. |

| I miss country from the 90s. Unfortunately, I don't like country music much at all, but I live in Nashville. |
