Etta James has died at age 73. What a career she had. Famous for a lot of tunes. One of my favorites.

Can't help but think of the "95 Bama game when I hear "At Last", but her career was much larger than that.

Very OT: Etta James died today at 73

A very sad loss to the music world, Etta was easily one of the finest Blues singers of all time. I have many of her CD's and always enjoy hearing her sing -- she will be missed.

Was she a cheerleader or hostess for the team back in the day?
