Chicago Code

Anyone watch the first episode?

Pretty good.

Jennifer Beals is a lead character looks pretty good but I kept thinking "she's a maniac" every scene she was in.

I watched it. Had been pumped for the premiere for the last month and was a little let down, which I figured I would be. Still thought it was solid though and will continue to watch since I like the creator Shawn Ryan's The Shield. I think once it gets going it can be pretty good. Like that the show's actually filmed in Chicago.

Yeah it was weird seeing him play a high school kid and then a detective. It was on Monday.

I prefer cop shows that have a running backstory. Looks like this one will.

Very few cop shows on that I can stomach. After living the life for 20 years, I try to watch those shows and just shake my head at the stupidity.

You telling me that the typical force doesn't have a chief of police and several detectives that are smoking hot babes who solve their issues with drinking and random sex?

I am disappoint
