SNL Weekend Update, who was the best anchor?

Since it's fresh on my mind as i watch the shell of a show i use to love, who was your favorite?

...and early voting indicates a generational discrepancy.

Any answer not saying Chevy Chase is for lack of another word phrase... never lived though it so i really don't know!!!!!

I too was a big fan of Norm. I was pretty mad when he got fired. That gig was perfect for his kind of humor and delivery.

After that I'd have to say Dennis Miller then Kevin Nealon. I'm too young to know how well Chevy Chase was, so that's probably not the best.

Though I like 30 Rock, I never cared for Tina Fey or Fallon or Amy Poehler; I actually haven't liked the Weekend Update segment in a long time. I hate Seth Meyers.

For the CC fans out there realize I'm right there with you. He to me is one of the top comedians of my time .. Fletch, Caddyshack, NLCV, and of course original SNL anchor.
Just more before my time in this poll, Norm to me was the perfect host who never got his due.

Forgot to mention, if you aren't watching the show Community you are missing Chevy Chase jumpstarting his career, he really is just stellar as PIerce Hawthorne.

Yep. He's hilarious and pretty much steals the show, though Donald Glover is hilarious too.
