| Rome and Oz- HBO series I am thinking about getting both of these, because I have heard some good things about both. Have any of you all seen either of these series? Any info or thoughts in general about them is welcome. |

| | smh | Seen Oz a couple times, solid show.
Rome is one of my absolute favorite mini-series ever... Make sure you throw historical accuracy to the wind beforehand. It's not a proper history lesson in any way. |

| Oz is one of my all time favorite shows. Watched the entire series again las winter. Haven't seen much of Rome but plan on catching up through Netflix.
If you like Rome you might enjoy Spartacus Blood and Sand, great show. Season two should be starting soon. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| Oz is awesome. Watched the first few seasons on the 101, but got behind and haven't been able to catch up yet.

| Never have seen Oz, but have watched the entire Rome series. It is great. I loved a peak back to ancient Rome. You should check it out. |

| | Senior Member | Rome was very good. They also had the sense to end it before it whithered away.

| Check out Six Feet Under too. It was out the same time as Sopranos so it didn't get much hype but it is a great show as well. |

| I thought I would hate Six Feet Under, but seriously ended up loving it. HBO really knows how to do it, and I am sure Wire is great. Just never made it to it.
I am a huge Sopranos fan, watch a episode still every couple of days. Thank God for HBO and all these great shows! Including Curb Your Enthusiasm! |

| thanks guys. i don't actually have hbo in my cable package and have always liked the seris i have seen. east bound and down is great in terms of comedic appeal. there is also no denying the epicness of the band of brothers and pacific series that they have produced. i will also take a gander at the wire and see what that is about. |
