Shawshank redemption thread:

This is easily my favorite movie of all time.
Anyone else's favorite?
If so whats your favorite part of the movie, or fav. line?

My favorite line is when he finds out Andy has escaped, and the warden claims that... a man up and vanishes like a fart in the wind etc..

Ah, top 40-50 range favorite.

Favorite part. The warden looking at the framed, knitted verse from the bible, as the cop cars come to get him. What was it. Know to that ye to shall be judged, or something like that. Especially sense he was found of quoting it to Andy.

Read the book when I was in Kuwait & then saw the movie. 1 of those rare occasions when the movie is as good as the book, definitely a favorite. Realistically he probably would have died from methane inhalation crawling through all that s*#%t.

Will probably always be my #1 movie. I cannot even really express how I felt watching this movie for the first time, it was just something I'll never forget.

Ghost Hunters went to the Mansfield Reformatory where Shawshank was filmed. Pretty cool episode.
