Thoughts? | I thought it was pretty good. Not as good as the Iverson one but solid. |

| Just finished watching it for the first time and I liked it. I would like to slap Mariotti across the face for the comment about RW being "a disgrace to humanity". The guy didnt want to play ball for a while and wanted to smoke some bud, which in no way makes him a disgrace to humanity. I am happy for RW and glad to he has a defined direction where he wants to go in life. |

| Most people took RW at face value, I know back when he quit football I thought that he was insane and a complete idiot. Of course, my knowledge was very limited, I only knew that he smoked weed and it seemed that he wanted to do that rather than make millions.
After watching, I see that he was just trying to find himself, just doing it on a much deeper level than most of would dare to.
I say good for him.

| It takes a man to throw it all away, to just get in touch with his inner self. He did it and is making a professional come back. Congrats and good luck RW.

Not as good as "The U", The Iverson documentary, or HBO's Bird/Magic documentary, but it was a good one. |

Even though Bayless comes off as a complete prick all the time, I agree with him every now and then. Mariotti is just scummy.
DLB has always been a friend and supporter of Ricky's. The doc gave me a really good, new insight on exactly what happened to him, and actually went so far as to completely reverse my opinion on him. Walking out on that kind of money to truly do what you want to do is admirable. Ricky's a stand-up guy. |

It's gonna be tough for any of these films to top "The U" (imho), but Ricky Williams is a very interesting guy to say the least, and I think the director did an excellent job with the chronological progression of interviews. |

that is pushing it a bit.
Revert back to the documentary..." What kind of father is Ricky "...his mothers response " Absent ".
I do admire that he does what he wants to and doesn't feel the need to conform to what society deems normal.

I guess my definition of a stand-up guy is off.
