1. Alice In Chains
2. Pearl Jam
3. Soundgarden
4. Stone Temple Pilots
5. Nirvana (I'm not really a huge fan of them, but out of respect I couldn't keep them out of a top 5 grunge list.)

Personally Layne Staley is my favorite singer out of all of those. Cornell and Vedder are a close 2a/2b though.

Grunge wasn't my favorite, but I listened to a lot of SP and Nirvana. I also listened to Pearl Jam some and I was never that big of a fan, but I thought their non-radio stuff was better than their popular stuff.

I’d agree. I contemplated Smashing Pumpkins, but I wasn’t even sure I could add them. Definitely can’t consider Foo Fighters grunge

I get that. I think of them as a smartass grunge band since they were out of Seattle.
