Also, I think Parenthood is an incredible all around film, but it's primarily a comedy. Seems like that belongs.

Here are what I would call omissions:

Beverly Hills Cop
National Lampoon's Vacation
School of Rock
Fletch

Movies that shouldn't be there:

Bridesmaids (#44? Were they kidding?)
Step Brothers
Zoolander

Just my opinion

Your list is pretty good and I disagree on Zoolander. Though it is just a dumb comedy, it was pretty culturally iconic.

I was a Mormon missionary when it came out and you are not allowed to watch movies as a missionary. I didn't even know what it was, but every younger missionary came into the mission talking about Zoolander. I knew half the jokes before I even saw it and it was still funny to me.

No Tommy Boy...not sure about what the Brits think, but I'd say it's one of the most widely beloved comedies here in the colonies.

How is Coming to America not in the top 10? I don't even know if it made the list but that movie not being near the top is criminal. Same with Friday and Don't be a Menace to South Central while drinking your Juice in the Hood.

Those are definitely the 3 funniest movies I've ever seen in my life. Especially Don't be Menace in South Central while drinking Your Juice in the Hood. That movie gets me in tears every time I watch it.

Caddyshack & Animal House are too low.

No Stripes, Fletch or the original Out of Towners is silly.

I watch all of those when I come across them. And I agree about Don't be a Menace.

Doesnt even have Life Aquatic...

Plus Office Space @ 80 should tell you all you need to know. This list was made by a bunch of old farts. Chaplin was the original king of comedy, but that style of comedy has not held up well over the years. Plus "Some Like It Hot" as the #1, were a majority of the critics in their 60s? Have to think so... C'mon now BBC...
