Was a good friend of Bill Paxton (who also died recently). They were both in Tombstone, Frailty and The Hatfields and McCoys.

He did tremendous turns in The Emerald Forest and Southern Comfort. An underrated actor whose presence made every film better.

I liked him, especially in Tombstone. I really liked his performance as Jim Jones the wacked out cult leader.

For some reason that always had a similar feel to Quint telling his Indianapolis story.

Actually my favorite quote of his from that movie was how he was shot down:

"It was 5 to 1...I got 4."

The last couple of years he had had multiple guest spots on Nashville & Marvel's Agents of SHIELD!

Tombstone is on right now. RIP Boothe and Bill. I watch this movie every time it's on.
