Siap. As far as I know, this is a new series being shown on WGN (Dish 239) 10pm EST.

Second episode airs tonight. Did anyone watch episode 1? I missed it, D*** it. I have it set to DVR now.

If you seen the first one, what would you rate it?

Great idea for a series. I think some of the acting is a little over done and somewhat predictable. But I am watching it. It airs on Tuesdays I believe and the 2nd episode just aired.

D***! I hope they have a "fest" day sometime soon so I can see episode 1.

The trailers looked very interesting.

I assume based on the book? If so I'll probably check this out.

Good ole pony boy and cherry

I don't think this series matches the book, nor movie. The trailer I saw made it out to be a thriller about deranged hill people. But, I haven't seen it yet. I will watch it tomorrow on the DVR and let you know.

Has nothing to do with either.

One is about greasers, the other is about hillbillies in Appalachia "living off the grid".

Just watched episode 2. Pretty good.
David Morse looking like Greg Allman. Lol. I remember first seeing him on St. Elsewhere back in the 80s. Good actor.

Some parts remind me of family, and some parts remind me of wife's family. Haha

Wish I'd seen first episode so I could catch up with the story lines.

This show will make a good binge watch in the future, imo.

You know there was a movie made back in the early 80's after the book?

Love that movie. Diane Lane in her prime was a force to be reckoned with.

What's crazy is all of the other future superstars of note that were in that movie.

Tom Cruise
Patrick Swayze
Rob Lowe
Matt Dillon
Emilio Estevez
Ralph Macchio
C. Thomas Howell

Star studded for sure. One of my wife's favorite movies.

Thats one of those movies you can watch and almost everyone in it became super famous later on.

Re-watched Ep2 with the wifey last night. She started laughing right off the bat. Not bc it was funny, but bc it reminded her of some people she knew. (Who the heck did I marry? Haha)

Monday, 2/8/16, WGN will be replaying Ep1 and 2 beginning at 7pm EST.

Ep3 (new) will air 2/9/16 @ 9pm.

The DVR is set.

Finally seen Ep1. We actually like this series, and trust me, the last series I liked was Raymond and it was in its 8th season before I gave it's a chance.

Outsiders, rated on a scale between 1 and 5, I'd give it a 4, so far.

We have seen all 3 episodes and can see the plots and subplots developing.

Looking forward to Ep4.

Have you all seen the previews for "Underground"? This maybe a good watch, also. I think it starts in June, iirc.

this is a good show,I like it better every episode

The wife and I say the same. Did you see Ep4? The language got a bit salty, which I don't have a problem with.

When the old lady (while picking tomatoes) said what she said too her son, my wife laughed and said "Yep! That's my grandmother."
