I can sorta understand how some movies can be updated or "re-imagined" for a new audience but I just don't see FG as one of those movies.

Eh...I think it's good but overrated. It wasn't even the best movie of 1994.

Anyway, just more proof, Hollywood has nothing left in the tank, as far as movies anyway. TV/Subscription/Streaming shows have surpassed movies in my book anyway.

They should. And they should use Haley Joel Osment, Forrest's son as the leading role. His acting was terrible in the new entourage movie and he had just an awful accent. "I see boxes of chocolate" with a Forrest Gump accent.
