Just saw the trailer for a new TV series starring James Spader, called "The Black List".

Spader plays the character of the world's mist dangerous and wanted criminal, who gives himself up and drives a bargain on catching other dangerous criminals. He plays a role similar to Hanibal Lecter in "Silence of The Lambs".

Not to get ahead of the story but I'm betting the Agent is (Spader's) Character's daughter!

I love spader. I've missed Boston legal so much it's not even funny.

He plays the same arrogant character in Blacklist as he played on Boston legal-he is damn good at it and it comes off well!

I agree.

He was a double edges sword in Boston legal. He got it done.

That's a pretty safe bet. They made it seem extremely obvious though, so I hope its not. But it is. :)

I watched it on Hulu last night. I thought that Spader came off well and the girl did as well.

I liked the show. It has potential for sure. They threw in a nice twist about her husband's secret lives.

Finally got around to watching the "Pilot" last night along with episode 2 and I have to say this is my "New" #1 show this fall topping Sleepy Hollow.

Its hard to say that as they are two totally different shows.

'The Blacklist' Picked Up for a Full Season by NBC

via press release:
NBC ORDERS FULL SEASON OF ACCLAIMED DRAMA ‘THE BLACKLIST’

Series Is No. 1 New Drama of 2013-14 Season in Total Viewers, Dominates Monday 10 O’Clock Timeslot

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — Oct. 4, 2013 — NBC has ordered an additional nine episodes of “The Blacklist” for a 22- episode full-season commitment, it was announced today by Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment.

“The many layers of Red Reddington and his mysterious reasons for getting into bed with the FBI seem to be fascinating to fans of this show,” said Salke. “With great talent like James Spader and Megan Boone on board, as well our stellar executive producers and the whole cast and crew, we believe this outstanding series will continue to make NBC a big destination on Monday nights.”

Through the first two weeks of the season, “The Blacklist” has averaged a 3.6 rating, 10 share in adults 18-49 and 12.0 million viewers, making it the #1 new drama on the Big 4 networks so far this season in total viewers, according to “live plus same day” ratings from Nielsen Media Research. Both episodes have led the Monday 10-11 p.m. ET hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key ratings category and the Sept. 23 premiere added 4.4 million time-shifting viewers in “live plus three day” results from Nielsen, the most any broadcast network telecast has ever added going from “live plus same day” to “live plus three day.”

I caught the first episode last week and set my DVR to record the series. I don't watch a whole lot of television, but I definitely enjoyed the pilot. I thought Spader was solid.

I usually watch HBO's Boardwalk Empire, Showtimes Homeland or FXs Sons of Anarchy. I usually don't watch the network shows. I really like this show so far.
