I really hope they can turn it around but Hendrick will have their work cut out for them. If he struggles again next year than it will be safe to say that it's the driver. I know many of you have already reached that conclusion.

I know that they are going to made that team a high priority. I do not think it is the driver. He makes a few mistakes, just like every other driver. I, personally, am not a Dale Jr megafan. But am soo tired of the guys lately that are winning. At least Jr has a personality about him.

Oh and while they're at it, they need to figure out how to get Gordon in the winner circle more than once in two years.

Who knows, maybe they can reunite Gordon and Evernham.

it's the driver.

why put forth the effort to great when you can be mediocre and still be the richest and most popular?

his head isn't in it anymore.

That would be a good match. I would like to see him come back but wonder how good he can be. He has been out of it awhile but am sure he would be just fine. Steve Addington might be a good one for Kurt also. I wonder if he has talked to his brother about him?

depends on how thick the skin is of either Addington or Evernham as to whether they could work the pit box of the 2 successfully.

I wouldn't be suprised to see him team up with Kahne where ever he ends up after this year. I wouldn't mind seeing them both at SHR...

I saw Kurt's post race interview. He lit up Tryson pretty good but they also played his radio scanner and he was telling Tryson thank you and that he would miss working with him so I couldn't tell if he was being serious or not.

From what's indicated Tryson's only reason for staying to begin with was Kurt. Then again, if you listen to Kurt's scanner you would wonder why anyone crew chiefs him.

Gordon seems to be loyal to Letarte so maybe they stay together but they haven't been that impressive. He is in the same shop as the 48 and their results aren't nearly as good. Not only Johnson but Mark Martin was the second best car at Hendrick. Maybe Gordon had much better equipment in the 90's than the rest of the field and maybe he is not as talented as I thought he was. I don't know what is going on but he hasn't been the same driver for a long time and he is not that old.

I never hear Gordon saying his car is fast. He is always complaining, even when leading that the car is too loose or too tight. He might be that kind of guy, always looking to make it better but I find it odd that the car is always off according to Gordon.

1. Gordon isn't that old, but he has been racing almost as long as he has been walking. He has hit hard too many times and just doesn't have the motivation he used to have.

2. See Rusty Wallace.
