Your Second Chance - Chase for the Sprint Cup Contest Rules.

Are you discouraged and either are thinking of dropping out of the Pick 'Em or already have? Are you a late entry having a good time wishing you had gotten in at the beginning, or have you missed more than one race and are out of contention for the win? Well then relax people, here is your "second chance" - The 2009 Chase For the Cup Pick 'Em Contest.

1.) Pick your top three of the twelve Chase contenders finishers for each Chase for the Sprint Cup race and you receive the points for them as awarded by NASCAR. This includes bonus lap leader points. You only pick from the final twelve drivers in the Chase.

2.) If you pick the race winner you receive 25 bonus points. This can be any driver, not just the final 12 Chase contenders. List and indicate your choice for winner if not a driver in the Chase, otherwise, your pick for first place of the 12 drivers in the Chase will also be your choice for race winner.

3.) If your three picks finish in the top five, you receive 15 bonus points. If they finish 1-3 in order you picked, you receive 30 bonus points. They do not have to finish 1-3 in the overall race results, just relative to the 12 Chase Contenders.

4.) If you pick the Pole Position winner you receive 20 bonus points. This can be any driver, not just the final 12. Just enter your pick in the normal weekly Pole Position Winner thread.

5.) Enter either car number or first name when two drivers have same last name (Busch & Gordon). If only last name is given, you will receive points of the lower finishing driver.

6.) You must enter your picks by the posted starting time for each race and Qualifying session, no exceptions will be made.

All disputes must be filed in the form of a PM to rbroyles before the next race. All decisions to be made by rbroyles and will be final.

Note: This contest is seperate from the regular Top 5 Pick 'Em which will continue. This contest is the property of rbroyles. All family members, employees, Gator and Bama fans, those considered by the majority of those who know them to be total idiots and/or jerks, lawgator, or any attorney of poor reputation (leaves very few), pedophiles, fair weather Vols fans, anti-Lady Vols BB fans, Kenny Chesney fans, black uniform advocates, the fat lady who sat next to me at WKU game, those who do not laugh at themselves or my jokes, and anyone else I just do not like should be prohibited from entering the above contest, however, hatvol says I cannot do so.
