| Just want to let those know who have expressed interest, it's time to make up your minds and make an offer. |

| excitement for bristol is at an all time low. it's still prolly one of the most popular races, but nothing like it used to be. it's sad really...

| the last 3 years the race there has gotten terrible (compared to what it was). it is a combination of things that have made this happen. the chase, the resurfacing (though some would disagree here), the COT. you can find tickets to the night race relatively easy now and in years past, there were just none to be found. we had season tickets for 11 years and let them go this year (due mostly to cost and having to pay a year in advance). they are just too easy to find now. no reason to have to put up $1200 a year in advance. i love bristol, but not as much as i used to.

"Anyone can bump a guy out of the way, it takes a good driver to pass without touching." (He won his 3rd in a row) |

| I would imagine it's better racing to watch in person and I'm sure the drivers like it better
but I like the old Bristol better sitting home watching on TV. Bristol was in a class by itself in relationship to the others tracks, now it's not. I will look forward to other short tracks over Bristol now. |

(He won his 3rd in a row) | i am sorry, but it has not made the racing that much better. the announcers like to paint the picture of "side by side" racing at bristol. there is more of that than there used to be, but it is still bristol with out the excitement. the cars do not race side by side enough there to make it that much better. you could count on one hand the ammount of competitive passes that are made on the outside there.

if i said it once, i've said it a million times. if you want to see racing, go to Bristol. if you want to see wrecking, your local demo derby will be more than happy to have your support. |

i do agree that there is more passing on the outside than in years past, but it's not "side by side" racing. that eludes to 2 lanes. there are 2 lanes at bristol, but the bottom is gonna win 9.5 times out of 10. bristol was always very exciting, and it's just a smaller version of these 1.5 mile boring tracks now. some people may like that. me, i prefer the old bristol that i grew up with. that racing made bristol what it used to be "the most exciting race of the year". not so much anymore.
