| Nascar question thread 1. Do the teams have any choice in a tire compound? If not why, every other form of racing does. They should!
2. Would you want Juan PM driving for you?
I think he will be a frontrunner soon, so I say yes.
3. Does anyone else think Kyle Busch is a really good driver and will do really well the next couple years. I do.
I thought this could be a place to post different questions on NASCAR. |

| | Senior Member | 1. No. Goodyear brings one tire compound to the track each weekend and that's what they have.
2. Yes.
3. Yes. He already is, I see no reason why he won't continue to improve. He's only 22, I believe.

| Juan Pablo is a great driver but he still hasnt made the transition from F1 to Nascar....he drives as hard as he can into the corners no matter where he is; as far as "give and take" goes, JPM is all take
although I cant stand Kyle Busch and his big ass sunglasses, he has alraedy proved he is a great driver with plenty of room to grow....Hendrick better hang on to him; with that being said, I dont think Jr will go to Hendrick (atleast I hope not)
and ditto on the No X3 |

2. i would not want Juan Pablo driving for me, he is very erratic and does not yet know how to take care of his equipment, and he has a very hard time getting along with his crew chiefs. maybe in a few years but he will not be a frontrunner anytime soon.
3. kyle busch is an excellent driver, great talent, but he's like tony stewart, he has to pick his battles and once he calms down a little, he'll be very dangerous in hendrick equipment. |

| | VN GURU | 1. Would Joe Gibbs seriously stay away from signing Jr. just because it is unchristian to have a beer sponsor?
2.If a car was set up perfect, would the drivers still cry about handling, just out of habit?
3. If only twenty teams could lock into the next race on points, would the overall competition improve? |

2. Absolutely
3. No, it would stay the same 20 ever week, just like it is now; just with less lapped traffic to get around |

You don't see him turning away the money they win for Bud Pole Awards or the money they won by winning the Bud Shootout three times. They've said they wouldn't want Budweiser as a primary sponsor, so we'll see how that goes.
2. No.
3. On Friday, anyway. Quote:

2. He should never run another Cup race. So, no.
3. Kurt.
