| | Senior Member | The sad thing is, HMS hasn't had the best car at a single CoT race yet. They haven't been garbage obviously, they've been right there in the top five consistently. As long as other teams are willing to give them away, HMS will gladly take them.

| i liked Hamlin's comments after the race. he was pissed.
i also like what Penske has going on the Cup side as well. they're really picking up some steam. |

| Yea, if it wasn't for that one pit stop then he would have probably ran away with the race.
It sucks though, I would have rather seen him win then Gordon or Johnson.

I know the 8, 11, and 20 all spent a considerable amount of time in the lead as well as the 24 and 48. JJ took the lead through pit strategy and held off a faster 24 car at the end, as we know.

| ok well if you're going to say they haven't been dominant in a single race don't exclude races. Gordon led the most laps at Richmond, won the pole and Johnson won the race, with Kyle Busch right there too. I think it's unfair to say they haven't been dominant in any race. |

| | Senior Member | Well, they haven't been.
They have however dominated the last lap of the CoT races, and that's what matters most in the end.
However if you look at the whole races, it's not like they've been swapping the lead amongst themselves throughout the race. They've been there in the top five and even leading a bit and executed in the end.
