Was hoping Schumacher was going to have a good race for old times' sake. Disappointing race IMO. I am glad to see Alonso on the podium though.

The next race I am really looking forward to is Silverstone.

At least next week makes for a reasonable time, so I don't have to wake up at three or four in the morning to watch a race.

Ticket prices for the US F1 race are up:

Austin sports news and Longhorns | Statesman.com

Not terrible prices compared to the rest of the events, but still way out of my budget. It would cost around $1500 for the full weekend.

I miss the old USGP at Indy. By the end of it you could have actual seats for $85.

I still hope the race in Austin does well.
