| | Senior Member | What's your favorite NASCAR track? For all the NASCAR fans out there that have traveled to some of the tracks and seen some of the races in person, what is your favorite track? How many have you been to?
The only tracks that I've been to see a race are: Charlotte, Dover and Poconos.
I've seen the tracks at Phoenix, Darlington, Watkins Glen and Daytona. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the inside of the track at Bristol even though I've stopped by several times. Would have to visit more to get a better idea. I really enjoyed Charlotte and I think seeing a race at Daytona and Talladega are AWESOME!

| I am partial to the smaller tracks..I just love the excitement and feel. I grew up outside of Bristol and I have been to ATLANTA, RICHMOND, MARTINSVILLE, ROCKINGHAM, CHARLOTTE, TALLADEGA, AND DARLINGTON. I honestly enjoyed everyone...Talladega was prolly was least favorite b/c it is like you see them for a split second, then u have to wait another 2 min...lol..I guess all and all you can tell I am a old Rusty Wallace Fan |

| my top 5:
1. Indianapolis- the size, the history, the mystique. there is no place like it. second to none.
2. Dega- just go.
3. Bristol- LOVE the night race. i have been there many times and never sat higher up than 20 rows. only way to see the race is down low.
4. Charlotte- only seen Indy Cars there. pretty cool place. better than...
5. Atlanta- again, only seen Indy Cars there.
i would like to go to Martinsville and Darlington. |

| | Senior Member | I've found something to like about all of the tracks.
Most people for whatever reason don't like Michigan or California... I love that the cars can drive all over the track and they have room to pass and move the car around depending on the handling. Chicago and Kansas were pretty rough to watch there for a few years, but as those tracks have seasoned and the racing has gotten better, they're fun to watch a race on, too.
Love Daytona and Talladega, even if they slow them down. No more plates with the Car of Tomorrow, though. The racing is crazy.
Love the road courses, short tracks, and Darlington just to see the drivers hustle the cars around the track. Fun stuff.
Long story short, probably not a track that I wouldn't enjoy watching a race.

| | Senior Member | 30? Wow, I hadn't heard it was that much. Didn't they make it like Homestead, with the progressive banking?

| | Senior Member | They could just about go around there wide open if it was 30 degrees... Atlanta is only 24.

| | Senior Member | My favorites are Bristol, Martinsville, and Richmond. I favor the short tracks. My least favorites are Dega and Daytona. I'm not too fond of plate racing or super speedways. When I am at a race, I like to be able to see the whole track. At Dega and Daytona, the cars go by and you wait and wait and wait. Those are better to watch on TV. I haven't liked the road courses until recently. I am starting to enjoy those a little. |
