| Biff just did a mock qualifying run and clocked in at 203.735 mph. I have to say I'm a little concerned about safety. Blowing a tire a 200+ MPH will not be good no matter how safe the new car is. | |

| Carl Edwards has problems trying to qualify today and thus starts 42. He just could get enough power to go through a complete run. He does have good stats but with problems I'd hate to pick him. The team will see how he does later in practice at 6 PM tonight.
