This group thing is still excellent. The wreck at Phoenix shows just how it can scramble everything up! In the old system I would have picked Kyle, Carl, Jimmie, Jeff Gordon, and Harvick. Well, out of that bunch Carl was the only one that had a bad day really. But having to pick two from each group creates HAVOC when there's a big wreck like we had yesterday. Even though I was near the bottom of the pile I love it. Makes every race that much more interesting and makes everyone here care about alot more drivers than they ever would have before. Now you are perhaps really interested in where Robby, Bobby Labonte, or Casey Mears runs where you never would have been before.

The difference at Phoenix for most contest entrants was Group C. The majority picked Vickers, Bayne and R. Smith who were all in wrecks. Those who picked Labonte scored the highest. Also picking Newman out of B paid off well. Both were picks I suggested, but didn't make myself. Mears was the highest finishing C driver, but no one picked him. Gilliand was a good choice too, but not picked.
