MLB Extra Inning Package

Moved away from Tennessee to the desert and am going to be doing my first baseball season not in the South. No way, I am going to be able to sit over here and watch the Dodgers everyday, so thankfully they have the MLB Extra Inning package available.

I am hoping to get some feedback from some of you outta market fans who have purchased it before. First, the most important thing to me, I have heard from folks out this way that anytime the Braves will come out on a West Coast swing, all the games will be blacked out. I just saw on the MLB.TV, the internet package, that NO games are blacked out. I would rather watch the games on the TV, but missing that many games?? Seems ridiculous.

And second, is it possible to pick between the home or away broadcast? With the NBA package, they sometimes have that choice but not all of the time. On the MLB.TV package, they say you always have that choice. If I cant hang with Carey/Simpson every game, I am not sure it would be worth having for the television and instead, might have to get used to watching games on the laptop..

So, any feedback? Thanks.

Here is the internet package..Heck of a deal.

I don't remember any times that I couldn't chose to listen to the Reds broadcasters when using mlb.tv and another great thing they do is archive all games so you can go back and watch them.

Just checked out MLB.tv's offers, and wait until after spring training to get it, the price will go down $20.

As long as you have good high speed internet, it's really not bad. Especially if you can get a cable to hook it up to your tv.

No matter what, you have to get the MLB Network as part of whatever route you take with cable/satellite because that is where the baseball God is now at and ole' Bob Costas.

Indeed, you just have to have the right hook ups both on your TV and computer.

Just take your laptop to Radioshack or Best Buy and they should be able to tell you what you need.
