Most of my family are cardinals/braves fans. Since the braves didn't make it to postseason play I was cheering for the cards. Unfortunately that didn't last very long.

When you've managed to coax six good innings out of the reanimated corpse of Pedro Martinez, and he just gave up the game-tying homer, and your bullpen has had something like five days in a row off, why the hell would you send him back out there in the 7th?

I told the wife when he came back out there that it was a bad move. Argh.

I think Charlie knows he took Pedro out too early in the NLCS against the Dodgers and it had alot to do with him sending him back out for the 7th last night. He was clearly gassed and every pitch that inning was off target and at the batter letters...
