when they announced this last night they said they don't know. chris getz the second baseman has been banged up so that is a possibility. the other two options are of course ss and 3rd base(recently moved to third at aa and aaa).

If he can't stick as short, most think he can't, his value drops a lot.

agreed. i just hope they stick him at ss and move alexei back to 2nd where he did a great job last year. if they move gordon around a lot i'm afraid that will hinder him.

I called a game in which we played against Beckham earlier in the year when he was with Birmingham.....He is the real deal, offensively and defensively.

went 0-3 today with a K. he looked really comfortable at the plate. seems to have good discipline at the plate.

At least he looks good when he strikes out. Some people look awful when they K.

if you can't get a hit against my A's, something isn't right.

Too bad whenever Tim gets called up, Gordon will only be the second best Beckham in the MLB.

1. Tim Beckham is at least 2 years away.

2. Tim Beckham isn't exactly killing the ball in A ball.

Tim Beckham has great potential but he still has a long way to go.

Tim Beckham didn't even look that good in Appy League ball.

It's going to take some serious work from Timmy to be getting PT over Jason Bartlett within 2 years.
