Roger Clemens

ESPN had an interview with Clemens today and he said it would be suicidal for him to use steriods. His family has a history of heart disease including his brother and step-dad. I didn't know his step-dad having heart problems would make his heart genetically weak.

Clemens needs to shut up, disappear onto his ranch for a few years, and wait for history to decide how to judge all of this era's players as a group. There's no way he's going to convince even one person that he didn't use anything.

You would think that somewhere about the time that he was trying to convince Congress that his WIFE was juicing, but that he had no idea about it and never used anything, he would have had this moment where he just paused, looked at the camera, and said, "Ah hell, guys. You got me." Every time he opens his mouth he just makes it worse.

I didn't hear Clemens, but I heard the guy that came on before him that was, I guess, his crisis manager. Mike and Mike, and this is why I hate listening to them, were throwing him so many softballs. Golic touched on a couple things that had him on his toes. That guy came off sounding like one of the most full of s**t people I have ever heard in my life, besides the biggest hick in sports, Roger Clemens.

Came on kissing Golic's ass, gave the ole' "Look a man in his eye speech". Made sure to use the word "drug dealer" a couple times when talking about Clemens accuser. Drug dealer, yes, but you could just hear his voice get in that dramatic tone. "DRUG DEALER!"

Clemens and his new crisis manager are the biggest ass clown dweebs I have ever seen or heard in my life. Clemens is the epitome of a dumbass.

Anyway while I'm *****ing here, Greenburg is without a doubt the biggest dweeb in sports radio.

I think you have to realize the timing of the Mike and Mike show. Very few legit morning shows play hardball. They are intended to be easier and softer than the shows that come in the afternoon and prime time. Morning newscasts report the news, but they aren't ever going to do a breaking news piece on something intended to scare you the rest of the day, instead giving more inspirational stories and what not.

Greenberg is much different when he anchors the evening Sportscenter for example.
