I agree on Billingsley and Hudson has been a nice surprise so far.

I might have brought them bad luck. They win 8 in a row, I start a thread then they lose to the Astros.

I was actually in San Fran Monday. Got to attend the game with buddy. Met Brad Ausmus, Doug Mientkiewicz and several of the Giants players. It was one of the best nights in sports I have ever had. Also got Wille McCovey, Willie Mays and Barry Bonds autos. I'm not much of an autograph seeker but when my son grows up, hopefully he will appreciate it.

I am surprised at the recent play of the Dodgers. I was expecting a .500 to sub .500 record without Manny and they're playing pretty good right now. They are now 13-7 without Manny as Juan Pierre is batting slightly under .400 right now.

The game on MLB channel last night with the Cubs was very entertaining. I thought Troncoso was going to blow the save but they were able to get out with a win and Broxton got the rest.

If Pierre continues to play close to the level he is playing right now he will force Torre to play him. It might push Ethier to the bench once Manny comes back.

Manny will be back in 9 games. Dodgers are 25-16 without him at this point. Although I am a fan of the Dodgers I don't think he should be allowed to "warm up" in the minors before his suspension is over.

This Dodgers giving us fans something to be excited about! Raffy has finally started to hit as of the last week. And man on man....Kershaw is finally coming around! His confidence is building inning by inning. It really helps when he gets ahead in the count.

Finally, another Dodgers fan. I never post in here because no one else gives a damn.

Anyone think the Dodgers do anything before the trade deadline?

I read Juan Pierre might get moved now that Manny is back. I really hope they keep him. He would be a nice weapon to have for the playoffs as an extra bat or runner.

They need some help setting up Broxton in the bullpen also.

I would love to get Halladay but Frank Mccourt hasn't been the type of owner to move prospects for a big name.

I would love Halladay as well. But not for the rumored prcie of Clayton Kershaw. He is the most untradable Dodger, IMO.

Yeah, we can surely use some help to get to Big Jon in the 9th. Troncoso has been great! We miss Belisario since his injury. Kuo may be back this week, but can we expect much from him the rest of the year?

Am I am truely excited to see Jason Schmidt pitch tonight. He has ripped the Dodgers off $47 million and he is a former Giant. But if he could somehow be productive for the remainder of the year, the 5th spot in the rotation would be set.

I watched the highlights on Sportscenter this morning. Schmidt didn't look too impressive but he did get the win. I didn't expect him to look too good after missing nearly two years.

I wouldn't trade Kershaw either. Kershaw and Billingsley could be for the Dodgers what Glavine and Smoltz were for the Braves.
