duchscherer is already hurt and he's an A. That means he'll be hurt all year. Probably would have went without Vlady, but I like your regular players. Not sure I'm sold on your pitching staff.

I pretty much agree with volfanbill's assessment. Your position players are solid, although you're going to need to pick up a catcher for the first few weeks with Mauer out and Weiters in AAA. (Shoppach might be a good option if available)

Your pitching is suspect. Drop Duchsherer for sure and don't look back. (Guys like Maholm and Gavin Floyd are available in most ESPN leagues) Price is in AAA also, but you kind of hate to drop him given that he's still expected to contribute this season. I've got him in a couple of leagues, so i can relate to the bind that puts you in.

I had to take Price because of the wife.. She went to HS with him and ate lunch with him every day.

I really didn't look at injuries to be honest, which I know messed me up.

How much were Nelson Cruz and Cameron Maybin going for? I would say drop Vlad in favor of one of these guys. At catcher, you could probably get Bengie Molina to hold you over until Mauer gets back, or Wieters is called up.

I have put Scherzer on the DL and picked up Pierzynski from FA to play C for a little bit. I also dropped Duchscherer and picked up Jurrjens.
