My brother played on that team with him. At a tournament at Riverdale I had a chance to talk with Tommy Lasorda who was there to watch/scout him. He told me it was very rare to see a lefty with his combination of speed and control at such a young age. He told me he was going to make a lot of money, this was his senior year.
I know you hear it said often but this kid truly thrives of being in tight situations. His performance the other night was clutch.
