| Not sure. I am not that familiar with Mrs. Torre.

| i'm pretty sure you mostly mean this because the yankees are at the bottom of the AL East, but I have to think Joe Torre looks at the DBacks pitching rotation and thanks holy s***. |

| Speaking of Torre, I was never really in the group that thought he was a great manager.
In the big picture, seriously, how hard is it to coach the best talent in the majors when you don't have to worry about the pitchers hitting.
He may be able to pacify egos and personalities but Great Baseball Mind. I'm not sold. |

Agreed, but Girardi is might be the opposite, and with that roster, being a baseball mind takes 2nd place.

| jtrain, i hate to be like this...but i've gotta admit something.
before terry got the boston job, i really wanted ol' joe to come over to our side. i feel bad about it now, but i do think he's a great manager. not sure if the structure in boston would have fit him as much as it did in ny, but i thought he should've given it a try. |

| So you're saying you wanted Joe Torre to resign from the Yankees job while he still had it and then sign with Boston?
Unless you're talking about Girardi, I don't know why you'd even waste your time thinking about it. |
