| Celebs and Spring Training Games? I heard Billy Crystal is working out with the Yankees this spring and going to take a few cuts in a game or to. I remeber a few years ago when Garth Brooks worked with San Deigo.
Any thoughts on this?

| If the Yankees want to take at-bats that could be used to help evaluate legitimate prospects and waste them on an over-the-hill comedian, I'm all for it. I hope he plays every day. |

| This is insane, I saw it yesterday I guess as a long time fan he deserves the right if Hank and Hal and Cashman can go along with it

| My reasoning was similar to what was said this a.m. on Mike and Mike.
Pre season baseball is too long and this adds a little entertainment. It is already a relaxed atmosphere so I guess, why the hell not. Let em' take his cuts, get his name on a jersey, and feel cool. If I were famous, I might do the same kinda stuff.
Does anyone think this is just a huge distraction?

| Could you imagine if he would have got plunked. He could have been participating in another bench clearing brawl
